Use the Apps Script Web app URL that ends in /exec — not the spreadsheet link from your browser (not docs.google.com/spreadsheets…).

That /exec link is the “door” the phone uses. The Google Sheet only stores the rows behind it. Your saved URL stays on this phone when the app updates.

Statuses live on this phone. Moving to a new web address (or a new phone) starts empty — tap restore to pull Drop / Completed / etc. from your Sheet.

How to get the correct /exec link (one time)

Open the Google Sheet that should hold field readings (or make a new Sheet).
Menu: Extensions → Apps Script. Paste the connector script from the setup guide, then Save.
Deploy → New deployment → gear → type Web app.
Set: Execute as Me, Who has access Anyone → Deploy → Authorize.
Copy the Web app URL. It must end with /exec.
Paste it in the box above and tap Save URL & sync now.
